Job summary

Vi at Grayhawk in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to oversee daily dining room and café operations, including staffing, scheduling, and side work checks. You will train staff to ensure friendly, efficient, and timely service for Residents and guests.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of experience in a high-quality restaurant or related setting, supervisory experience, and is eligible for Food Handlers certification.

Qualifications

• 3 years previous experience in a high quality restaurant, hotel, country club or senior living company.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handlers certification, as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dining room and café operations, including staffing, scheduling and side work checks.
• Train staff and ensure efficient, friendly and timely meal service for Residents and guests.

Responsibilities

Dining Room Supervisor

A desirable opportunity exists for an accomplished professional to supervise the daily operations of the dining room and café to include staffing, scheduling, assigning and checking all side work. The selected candidate will have significant responsibility for training of staff and ensuring an efficient, friendly and timely meal service is delivered to Residents and guests.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants are required possess 3 years previous experience in a high quality restaurant, hotel, country club or senior living company. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handlers certification, as required.

Additional Requirements Include

• Ability to supervise, hire, train and create a high-performing team


• Systems orientation with basic Microsoft office skills and experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system is preferred.


• Complete knowledge of all current service styles and techniques


• Excellent communication skills


• Team player, friendly and energetic with ability to coordinate multiple tasks


• Possess or be willing to obtain Food Handlers certification as required
