2Life Communities in Newton, MA is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for all dining programs across the campus. You will drive culinary innovation, financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to deliver high-quality, resident-centered meals.

The role focuses on enhancing resident well-being through engaging dining experiences, cost controls, and a culture of hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of food and beverage management experience.
• Experience in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or high-volume dining preferred.
• Experience overseeing large-scale dining operations, catering, and special events.
• Current ServeSafe certification required.
• Liquor license certification strongly preferred.
• Strong budgeting, cost control, and financial planning skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and execution of diverse, seasonal dining programs.
• Oversee menu planning, catering services, and special events across the community.
• Ensure meal offerings support resident wellness, satisfaction, and dietary preferences.
• Monitor dining quality, presentation, and overall service standards.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, operational costs, labor expenses, and inventory controls.
• Implement strategic purchasing practices to maintain financial sustainability.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
