Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Director of Food and Beverage to lead the dining team and oversee operations across themed restaurants and cafés. The role demands strategic, service-driven leadership with a strong background in multi-unit management and a passion for resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, driving food quality, coordinating events, and mentoring staff to uphold exceptional hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of food service management experience.
• Serve Safe Certification obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Additional certifications are required by federal, state, and/or local regulations.
• Must be available to relocate for available positions.
• State regulations may be applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, nutritious meals and responsive service to residents, guests, and staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manages departmental budgets, controlling food, labor, and nonfood costs to achieve financial goals.
• Promotes customer satisfaction and coordinates catering, events, and public room bookings.
• Supports departmental planning, staffing, hiring, employee development, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, applicable regulations, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Builds positive relationships with interdisciplinary teams and effectively uses HR, financial, and food production systems to achieve departmental goals.
