Job summary

Windsor Run by Erickson Senior Living in Matthews, NC, seeks an Assistant General Manager of Dining Services to lead dining room and café operations and oversee mealtime service, ensuring efficient kitchen, dining areas and catering support.

You will supervise scheduling, training and development of restaurant teams, ensure proper portioning and attractive presentation, and uphold safety and policy standards. This role offers growth opportunities within a supportive senior living community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dining room management, service, and sanitation.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Proven ability to supervise multiple venues and manage large teams.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, training, hiring, coaching, and development of all employees in the restaurant, café, and supervisory positions.
• Ensure that food is properly portioned, plates are attractively presented, and service meets established standards.
• Supervise the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, kitchen, storage areas, and loading dock.
• Ensure that dining staff complies with safety regulations and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Participate in programs and activities designed to enhance employee and resident satisfaction.
