Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to lead multiple themed dining venues within Wind Crest. The role requires strategic leadership, a focus on resident satisfaction, and strong financial acumen across operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in multi-unit food service management, Serve Safe certification, and readiness to relocate as needed. Competitive compensation is paired with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Serve Safe Certification obtained within 6 months of employment; additional certifications may be required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, nutritious meals with responsive service for residents, guests, and staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage departmental budgets and control costs to achieve financial goals.
• Coordinate catering, events, and room bookings to support community activities.
• Support staffing, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions within the department.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, food safety, and workplace safety.

Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to lead our dynamic dining team and oversee operations across multiple uniquely themed restaurants and cafés. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and service-driven leader with a strong background in multi-unit food service management. They will bring a keen eye for food quality and presentation, exceptional hospitality standards, and proven financial acumen. A passion for team training, development, and mentorship is essential, along with the ability to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and resident satisfaction.

Compensation:

• Commensurate with experience from $105,00-115,000 annually,plus eligibility for annual bonus.

How you will make an impact

• Provides high-quality, nutritious meals and responsive service to residents, guests, and staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manages departmental budgets, controlling food, labor, and nonfood costs to achieve financial goals.
• Promotes customer satisfaction and coordinates catering, events, and public room bookings.
• Supports departmental planning, staffing, hiring, employee development, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, applicable regulations, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Builds positive relationships with interdisciplinary teams and effectively uses HR, financial, and food production systems to achieve departmental goals.

What you will need

• Minimum of 5 years of food service management experience required, including production, service, and sanitation
• Serve Safe Certified obtained within 6 months of employment. Additional certifications are required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
• Must be available to relocate for available positions
