Job summary

K&L Gates seeks a Director of Digital & Technology Strategy & Execution to lead the operational engine of the Firm's Digital & Technology organization. Reporting to the CDTO, you will translate strategy into coordinated delivery across technology, oversee the PMO and BRM teams, and drive priorities from decision to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science or related field; MBA or relevant master's preferred.
• Ten or more years of progressive experience in technology strategy, delivery, or operations leadership including PMO/portfolio responsibilities.
• Five or more years leading and developing teams, ideally in chief-of-staff or PMO roles.
• Experience translating executive strategy into delivered outcomes in a complex, matrixed org.
• Experience in professional services, legal, or client-driven environments preferred.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PfMP; ITIL/BRMP advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the CDTO's principal execution partner, owning delivery of strategic priorities from decision through measurable completion.
• Act with delegated authority, deputizing for the CDTO in meetings and decisions and representing technology to Firm leadership.
• Translate strategy, OKRs, and roadmaps into coordinated plans with owners, milestones, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Maintain a single view of commitments, surfacing risks and driving resolution.
• Prepare executive briefings and materials for management committee and board discussions.
• Provide leadership to the PMO, setting operating model, governance, standards, and delivery methodologies.
• Own the technology project portfolio end to end: intake, prioritization, sequencing, resourcing, benefits realization.
• Establish portfolio reporting across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and value.
