Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Director of Digital Platforms Transformation to own the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of internal digital platforms supporting logistics, dispatch, fleet operations, and damage recovery.

The leader will guide a team of platform managers and delivery resources, partner with senior stakeholders, and ensure platforms evolve to meet changing business needs with enterprise‑level quality and execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT delivering applications and platforms.
• 3+ years in people leadership or management.
• Experience in logistics/transport platform domains.
• Formal training in Agile or Project Management; PMP/SAFe a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and roadmap for internal digital platforms.
• Lead cross-functional teams including business, IT, QA, and vendors.
• Prioritize backlog, plan enhancements, and manage defects.
• Provide executive status updates and ensure delivery within budget.
