Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Director of Digital Experience and Web Platforms Technology in the United States. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the Aon.com digital experience platforms, partnering with Marketing, Brand, and Sales to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.

You will lead a global team, mature Agile practices, and drive DevOps and governance to ensure secure, reliable platforms.

Qualifications

10+ years leading enterprise web platforms or digital experience technologies.
Solid Sitecore experience and related digital experience technologies.
Experience building technology roadmaps, architecture strategies, and modernization programs for large-scale platforms.
Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery and engineering best practices.
Experience leading distributed teams through digital transformation and platform modernization.
Knowledge of web integration patterns across CRM, marketing, analytics, identity, and enterprise platforms.
Familiarity with AI-enabled digital experiences, personalization, and content automation is preferred.
Proven ability to build, scale, and develop high-performing technology teams.
Strong business relationship management and executive communication.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the multi-year technology roadmap for Aon.com, aligning with business, marketing, brand, and client experience objectives.
Serve as the primary technology partner to Marketing, Communications, Brand, and Sales, translating needs into scalable solutions.
Lead evolution of the digital platform ecosystem, including Sitecore, web content management, personalization, search, analytics, integrations, and AI capabilities.
Build and lead a global team of product managers, architects, developers, scrum masters, and engineers.
Establish and mature Agile product delivery practices: Scrum, backlog management, release planning, sprint execution, continuous improvement.
Drive engineering excellence through DevOps, platform governance, automation, and reliability.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Data teams for secure, scalable solutions.
Manage vendor relationships and technology investments balancing innovation with debt reduction.
