The Future of Free Speech (FoFS) seeks a Director of Development to grow support from individual donors and foundations, lead donor outreach, and build lasting relationships with funders. You will manage a personal portfolio and partner with the Executive Director on top donor engagements and foundation proposals.

This remote role offers flexibility while noting a preference for candidates in or near Washington, DC or New York City due to donor networks.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of fundraising experience with individual donors and foundations.
• Strong writing skills for grants, proposals, and communications.
• Ability to manage a portfolio and drive donor engagement and solicitation.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of donors and foundations with travel as needed.
• Design and implement a moves-management plan for priority prospects.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director on top donor relationships.
• Draft proposals, reports, and donor communications.
• Coordinate budgets, program details, and supporting materials.
• Track fundraising progress and opportunities in Salesforce.
• Prepare briefing materials for donor meetings and events.
• Support donor stewardship and event outreach.
