Job summary

First Liberty Institute in the United States seeks a Development Officer to cultivate donors and grow revenue in support of religious freedom for all Americans. This remote role advances the F3 initiative by engaging individuals in their 20s to 40s.

You will maintain authentic donor relationships, develop tailored supporter strategies, and secure major gifts and multi-year pledges to meet fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Must be a professing Christian and agree with First Liberty’s Articles of Faith.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field OR 7+ years in customer service, sales, or related field.
• Passion for First Liberty’s mission and personal integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high professionalism.
• Humility paired with self-confidence and the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively.
• Ability to travel as needed and proficiency with Raiser's Edge/CRM on Apple OS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen authentic donor relationships and prospects.
• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized supporter strategies.
• Secure major gifts, multi-year pledges, and estate commitments to meet goals.
• Contribute to a collaborative culture and donor pipeline growth.
• Reflect organizational values in professional conduct.
• Report activity and results; keep Raisers Edge updated.
• Travel as required; perform other duties as assigned.
