Job summary

Foundation for Government Accountability is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead our fundraising team and grow donor partnerships supporting our mission. This senior role reports to the Leadership Team and collaborates with the CEO to drive strategy and outcomes.

You will manage a high-impact development function, build a strong team, and expand our core donor base while working remotely with frequent travel to Florida and across the country.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of major gifts fundraising or related relationship-driven sales experience.
• Proven ability to build strategy and lead teams to impact.
• Track record of closing major gifts and expanding donor networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Build the Development Team.
• Grow and implement fundraising strategy with executive leadership.
• Open doors with new prospects and manage donor pipeline.
• Make strategic donor pitches and close major gifts.
• Own development data, processes and reporting.
