Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a Director of Development to lead fundraising for the North Texas Region, driving a multi-million-dollar donor program and revenue growth. You will manage a team of professional fundraisers, cultivate major donors, and partner with executive leadership to implement strategic development plans.

This role requires strong leadership, donor stewardship, and the ability to scale programs across diverse constituencies, with travel within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years of fundraising or related experience.
• Experience increasing philanthropic revenue from diverse constituencies.
• Advanced degree highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of fundraisers to meet the $10M+ revenue target.
• Cultivate major donors and sponsors; manage portfolios.
• Collaborate with national teams and oversee campaign activities.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff and volunteers.
• Drive disaster relief fundraising initiatives.
