The American Red Cross seeks a Senior Philanthropy Director to lead a multi-year transformational fundraising effort in Central South Texas markets (Dallas, Houston, or Austin). You will cultivate top-tier prospects and manage a blended portfolio of individuals, corporations, and high-value volunteers.

The role requires exceptional communication, leadership, and a track record of securing seven-figure gifts. Reporting to the VP of Transformational Giving, relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of fundraising and/or sales experience in large organizations.
• Extensive knowledge of fundraising and/or sales principles and techniques.

Responsabilités

• Implement an overall fundraising strategy, managing an assigned donor portfolio to maximize revenue and engage donors.
• Partner with field fundraisers to maximize revenue growth among individuals, foundations, and corporate donors with seven-figure capacity.
• Identify and leverage relationships with families, foundation decision-makers, and C-suite contacts; secure meetings and solicitations.
• Collaborate with departments and national/regional offices to prepare proposals matching donor objectives.
• Compile and analyze data about accounts in portfolios to inform solicitation strategy.
• Recruit high-net-worth donors to support the American Red Cross.
