Job summary

Kingdom Workers is seeking a Director of Development to lead fundraising and donor engagement. Reporting to the VP of Mission Advancement, you will develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies and oversee major gift, annual fund, foundation, and campaign initiatives.

You will supervise gift officers and development staff, set annual goals and donor metrics, and collaborate with executive leadership on transformational giving opportunities that advance the Christ-centered mission.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of directly fundraising experience or relevant outreach/sales.
• Thorough knowledge of fund development principles and major gift strategies.
• Experience supervising or coaching staff in a development setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead major gift fundraising strategy and donor relationship program.
• Directly supervise and coach gift officers to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors.
• Establish annual performance goals, donor engagement metrics, and portfolio management expectations.
• Conduct pipeline reviews and donor strategy sessions to strengthen relationships.
• Partner with gift officers on qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Ensure moves management and donor engagement best practices are used across staff.
• Foster donor-centered ministry aligned with Kingdom Workers' Christ-centered mission.
• Collaborate with VP of Mission Advancement and CEO on enterprise-level prospects and transformational giving.
