Texans Care for Children in Austin is seeking a Director of Development to lead the organization’s fundraising strategy across major gifts, annual giving, grants, and sponsorships. You will collaborate with the CEO, VP of Finance and Operations, and the Board to set revenue goals and execute plans that expand donor engagement and long-term support.

Competenze

• 10+ years of professional experience in a nonprofit organization, with a proven development track record.
• Demonstrated success identifying, engaging, cultivating, and securing new donors including individuals and corporate sponsors.
• Experience developing donor stewardship and retention strategies to strengthen relationships and increase support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage a broad donor base and build long-term relationships.
• Experience creating corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
• Experience using donor databases and CRM systems to manage relationships and track fundraising performance.
• Flexible and adaptable leadership style.
