Job summary

DePelchin Family Services in Houston seeks a Director of Donor Engagement to lead integrated fundraising and donor relations programs that grow new donors, boost annual giving, and strengthen retention. You will oversee omnichannel campaigns across direct mail, email, digital, events, and giving programs, collaborating with marketing and volunteers to advance the mission.

The role requires strategic leadership of the donor services team, stewardship programs, and data-driven fundraising

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in a non-profit fundraising environment.
• Management or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight for all direct response fundraising efforts and multichannel campaigns (email, mail, SMS, social, digital).
• Lead planning and execution of major fundraising events and donor cultivation activities.
• Design and lead comprehensive donor stewardship and retention programs; oversee related staff.
• Grow revenue through recurring giving, corporate matching gifts, peer-to-peer fundraising, and tribute giving; supervise related staff.
• Cultivate corporate and community partnerships; identify major giving prospects for the Donor Relations team.
• Oversee volunteer program leadership and coordination, aligning with organizational goals and compliance.
• Oversee database operations to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement; supervise the Advancement Database Manager.
• Provide monthly activity and performance reports to leadership and board committees.
