Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Director, R&D HR Business Partnering to lead a global team of HRBPs supporting senior leaders in Engineering, Product, Security and Research. You will align talent strategy with product roadmaps and platform architecture while guiding COEs and succession planning.

You’ll champion AI-enabled organizational design, drive change initiatives, and coach VP+ leaders to build resilient, high-performance teams across Cloudflare’s global hubs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive HR experience
• 5+ years leading an HRBP team for technical orgs
• Experience partnering with senior leaders in R&D/Engineering/Product
• Strong executive coaching and stakeholder management skills
• Experience designing agile organizational structures for AI-native environments

Responsibilities

• Lead global team of embedded HRBPs supporting senior executives across Engineering, Product, Security, and Research
• Bridge business leadership with Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, People Operations)
• Develop talent strategies aligned with product roadmap and platform architecture
• Drive change initiatives, succession planning, and retention in highly technical hubs
