McLane Company, Inc. seeks a Transportation Manager to oversee the smooth operation of the Transportation department at a distribution center. You will plan, direct, and coordinate delivery and backhaul activities while driving cost savings and ensuring top-tier customer service.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in outbound transportation, leadership experience, and strong analytical skills with MS Office proficiency. This full-time role is based at our Hebron, KY facility with day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
• 5+ years in outbound transportation and distribution systems.
• 4+ years in accounting, planning, or reporting to identify cost solutions.
• Experience managing large driver teams and staff development.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Access.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour coverage for transportation operations.
• Supervise transportation operations managers and processes.
• Maintain a staffed, trained department delivering logistics support.
• Direct and coordinate all delivery and backhaul activities.
• Drive KPIs for cost savings and service levels.
• Optimize manpower through scheduling and training; handle special projects.
