Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Distribution Manager for our Jessup, PA facility. You will oversee warehouse operations, ensure safety and efficiency, and drive cost-effective processes across inbound/outbound activities.

The role requires extensive warehousing experience, strong knowledge of distribution systems, and the ability to analyze financial statements while leading a large team. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of warehousing experience.
• Knowledge of distribution systems.
• Experience managing a large warehouse staff.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial statements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Access.
• English reading/writing proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility safety and compliance per standards.
• Benchmark and manage warehouse-related P&L costs.
• Assign accountability and track KPIs.
• Support Transportation Manager in warehousing/distribution coordination.
• Provide training and conduct performance reviews.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
