Job summary

McLane is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to provide direct supervision for a group of drivers, ensuring safe, timely deliveries and compliance with DOT regulations. You’ll leverage routing systems and coordinate with other distribution center teams to keep operations running smoothly.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of transportation management experience in food distribution, knowledge of DOT rules, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently for job tasks; communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries via routing and dispatch procedures.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and DOT requirements for compliance.
• Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Additional duties and special projects may be assigned by the supervisor.
