Job summary

DoorDash seeks a Director of Data Science to lead NV Consumer analytics, shaping measurement, strategy, and data foundations for cross-functional decision making. You will build a high-performing team, develop prioritization frameworks, and raise the speed and quality of decisions.

You will report to a Senior Director on the NV Analytics team and influence product roadmaps, experimentation, and investment decisions at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Science, Analytics, or related field; led senior teams and developed managers.
• Strong product and business analytics judgment; defined metrics and decision frameworks.
• Expertise in experimentation and causal inference; comfortable with imperfect data and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of data science leaders and practitioners across a portfolio from 0→1 to high-traffic surfaces.
• Own analytical direction for NV Consumer: goals, frameworks, data tools, scaled experimentation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Strategy & Operations, Design, and Finance to influence roadmaps and investments.
• Build the operating system for decision-making: data foundations, AI-enabled tooling, metric linking.
• Operate with broad scope and autonomy in a startup-like setting within a large analytics org.
• Drive cross-functional impact and scale within a fast-growing business unit.
