Job summary

QTS Data Centers in the United States seeks a seasoned leader for the Director, Development (Data Center Construction) role. You will oversee customer deployment projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across multiple locations.

The role requires a strong background in data center design, engineering and construction management, plus the ability to travel as needed and lead large-scale programs with stakeholders from Sales, Operations, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
Ten or more years of progressive responsibility in development of Mission Critical Facilities.
Five or more years of responsibility of data center project construction with large-scale data centers or DC lease providers.
Be able to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

Manage the customer deployment project delivery for each sold deal within each QTS location.
Coordinate with the Property Development team and supporting consultants to support customer design, pricing, approvals and deployment scopes.
Manage delivery of projects aligning clients’ objectives, processes, vendor strategies, and cross-group collaboration.
Drive effective client relationship management and cost management to deliver on time and on budget.
Serve as the single contact for Federal sales support on potential secured deals.
