Aquarian is seeking a Director of Credit Technology to lead the development and enhancement of the Credit Investment platform. You will build front-end interfaces and robust back-end systems, collaborating with investment professionals to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate has extensive full-stack experience, strong AI/ML skills, and a track record delivering scalable enterprise applications while maintaining secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of hands-on full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI, ML, LLMs, and practical implementation.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of server-side languages and frameworks (C#, .NET, Web API, Node.js).
• Strong frontend skills (JavaScript, React).
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable enterprise apps.
• Familiar with secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and enhancement of a scalable technology platform for the Credit Investment team.
• Develop and deploy AI-powered solutions to improve underwriting workflows and portfolio management.
• Take an agile, iterative approach to software development.
• Design intuitive front-end interfaces for the Credit Investment team.
• Build, maintain, and optimize back-end systems for scalability and reliability.
• Partner with Investment, middle-office, and back-office stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Independently troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex system issues.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC from architecture to production support.
• Design systems that prioritize scale, modularity, performance, and reliability.
• Maintain data integrations, reporting capabilities, and workflow automation.
