Job summary

Core Group Resources in Katy, TX is seeking a Director of Contractor Service to lead our contractor program from onboarding through completion. You will manage a team of Service Consultants and collaborate with Sales, Recruiting, Onboarding, and HR to meet client and contractor needs.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on compliance, relationship-building, and driving KPI-driven performance across the assignment lifecycle; travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of staffing/contract labor experience.
• Ability to lead, train, and hold a team accountable.
• Strong knowledge of contractor compliance and HR/payroll processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; staffing software experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

About the Role

Core Group Resources is looking for a Director of Contractor Service to lead the contractor experience from the start of an assignment through its completion. You'll manage our team of Service Consultants and work closely with Sales Managers, Recruiting Managers, the Onboarding Manager, and HR to meet the needs of our clients, contractors, and assignees.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows contract labor, takes compliance seriously, and builds strong relationships with the people we place.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of Service Consultants, balancing workloads and building a culture of excellence
• Build strong relationships with our contractor base and with departments across the entire assignment process
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Safety, and other teams to resolve issues affecting our contractors
• Audit compliance against industry standards, client contracts, and internal processes
• Train your team on customer policies and regulatory requirements
• Create, implement, and track KPI metrics, and hold the team accountable to them
• Recommend improvements to client delivery to maintain high service standards
• Drive contractor retention, influence referrals, and share new leads and opportunities that come from the relationships you build
• Travel to client job sites as needed

What You Bring
