Job summary

Bizee in Houston seeks a Director of Content to own the content program end to end—strategy, editorial quality, production systems, and team leadership. Editorial, social, email, and video should feed each other, with every asset built to travel across channels rather than live in one.

It is both a strategy role and a building role. You will set the company-wide content strategy and the integrated calendar, own the distribution architecture that moves content, and lead long-form work that builds

Qualifications

• 8+ years of content experience across multiple disciplines (editorial, social, email, video).
• Experience building company-wide content strategy with pillars and calendars.
• Proven ability to lead a content team and build a content function.
• Strong editorial judgment and hands-on writing ability for long-form content.
• Channel strategy across social and video, including YouTube.
• Comfort with content operations, workflow design, and AI tooling.
• Data-informed with ability to set and use KPIs to shape strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the company-wide content strategy, pillars, and integrated calendar.
• Set editorial quality standards across voice, tone, and readability.
• Lead long-form and narrative content, research reports, and editorial features.
• Own content distribution and repurposing across channels and campaigns.
• Drive brand email content and campaigns in collaboration with campaign owners.
• Lead content-driven campaigns end-to-end and coordinate with PMM initiatives.
• Oversee content operations, workflows, and AI/automation for scale.
• Define KPIs and use performance data to inform priorities.
