Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Competitive Intelligence to perform research and analysis that informs corporate strategy. This remote role accepts candidates across the U.S.

who can align with Eastern Time business hours and present findings to leadership. You will manage projects, develop strategic profiles, and contribute to distribution of intelligence across Sales, Marketing, and executive teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics.
• Master's degree preferred MBA, accounting, finance, economics.
• Two (2) years or more management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required.
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends.
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely.
• Utilize intelligence garnered from primary and secondary research activities to develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated key intelligence topics.
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation.
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant source of primary and secondary research, including industry analysts, market research firms, conferences, and others.
