Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations for commercial property and casualty. This role partners with regional leadership to drive workflow standardization, improve efficiency, and deliver exceptional client service.

You will oversee M&A integration efforts, workforce planning, and strategic initiatives, with a focus on EPIC systems and scalable processes. Remote work with occasional onsite requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy in collaboration with leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing, capacity, and demand to develop workforce plans.
• Ensure alignment with Managed Services and organizational goals.
• Serve as national Commercial P&C SME on operations, workflows, and systems.
• Support M&A integration through planning, workflow alignment, and standardization.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive results.
