Job summary

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking a Director of College Access Programs (CAP) to lead TRIO grants and related initiatives that support first-generation and underrepresented students in the Cincinnati region.

You will oversee day-to-day CAP operations, budgeting, reporting, and grant compliance, work with internal partners and external organizations, and ensure data-driven evaluation while reporting progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least three years of experience managing a grant-funded project or program, including budgeting and performance outcome reporting.
  • At least three years of experience in higher education.
  • At least three years of experience hiring, supervising and developing personnel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with database and case management systems for data entry and reporting.
  • Travel to designated TRiO high schools and participate in program activities.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the successful day-to-day operations of CAP operations, including programming, financial accountability, and reporting.
  • Responsible for financial management, reporting and documentation related to grant expenditures.
  • Program development, execution and evaluation of grant priorities, strategies and outcomes.
  • Interface with internal and external partners to support CAP activities and college initiatives.
  • Records administration, data capture, and annual program performance reviews.
  • Disseminate progress, results, and key learnings of CAP projects to stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing policies to improve quality, timeliness and effectiveness in responding to student needs.
