Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC seeks a Director of Manufacturing Engineering & Technology to lead hands-on CNC manufacturing, process development, and problem solving on the production floor. You will drive tooling/fixture design, tackle shop-floor issues, and partner with engineering to modernize systems with AI and digital tools.

You will shape the manufacturing transformation, mentor the team, and ensure performance improvements in cycle time, quality, and delivery while aligning with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Significant CNC machining experience with hands-on problem solving.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and fixturing.
• Experience interpreting drawings, GD&T, and tolerances.
• Proven track record leading manufacturing improvements with measurable results.
• Experience implementing digital manufacturing tools and AI in manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on manufacturing engineering to lead routings, sequences, setups, tooling, and work instructions.
• Direct technical support for CNC programming, setup optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Lead tooling and fixture design, development, selection, and implementation.
• Collaborate with machinists and production staff to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Advance cycle times, tool life, and process capability.
• Support new product introductions and production ramp-up.
• Ensure processes meet drawings, tolerances, quality, and customer requirements.
• Develop a modernization roadmap for CNC operations and digital tools.
