Talent With Heart is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Engineering & Technology to lead hands-on CNC manufacturing, process development, and shop-floor problem solving in a growth-focused environment.
The role melds technical leadership with manufacturing transformation through automation, digital tools, and AI integration. Regular floor involvement and cross‑functional collaboration are essential to drive performance and capability.
Qualifications
- Significant manufacturing engineering experience in CNC environment.
- Experience front-line troubleshooting and shop-floor problem solving.
- Experience developing manufacturing processes from drawings to production.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and fixtures.
- Experience implementing digital manufacturing tools and AI in workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead the methodization of new work, including routings and setup requirements.
- Provide direct technical support for CNC programming and machining issues.
- Lead tooling and fixture design and implementation.
- Collaborate with machinists and quality to resolve manufacturing problems.
- Improve cycle times, tool life, and process capability.
- Support NPI and transition of new work into production.
- Ensure processes meet drawings, tolerances, quality, and customer requirements.
- Develop modernization roadmap for CNC operations and automation.
