Job summary

Core Sound Imaging, a PSG company, is seeking a Director of Cloud Operations to own outsourced IT operations and an internal AWS DevOps team. You will bridge MSP and internal engineering, drive cloud reliability, security, and cost-efficiency, and align with one roadmap and incident-response process.

You will lead vendor management, budget planning, and multi-year cloud roadmap, collaborating with security, compliance, product and engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in IT operations, infrastructure, or cloud engineering, incl. 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven MSP management experience incl. contracts & SLAs.
• Hands-on AWS prod-scale experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Experience leading a DevOps/SRE team; CI/CD, IaC, containerization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MSP relationship, contracts, renewals, pricing, SLAs.
• Lead internal AWS DevOps team; define cloud architecture, IaC, CI/CD, observability.
• Own AWS cost management and optimization, tagging governance.
• Drive security best practices with security team; incident response & governance.
• Unify incident management, on-call and change-management across teams.
