Job summary

SAP NS2 is seeking a Director of DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of our secure multi-cloud infrastructure, supporting SAP products for government and private sector customers.

The role blends executive leadership with hands-on credibility, driving automation, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD while enforcing security-by-design, incident response, and governance across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams in relevant environments.
• Hands-on with Terraform, Ansible, Python, CI/CD, Vault, Kubernetes, Docker, and IAM.
• Strong Unix/Linux administration and networking experience.
• Proven ability to lead secure, automated infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performance DevOps and cloud platform engineering organization.
• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for cloud infrastructure and platform automation.
• Oversee architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Drive provider-agnostic multi-cloud patterns (AWS, Azure, GCP) for compliance and repeatability.
• Lead governance of configuration management, GitLab workflows, and CI/CD across teams.
• Ensure observability, logging, alerting, and telemetry across multi-tenant environments.
• Champion DevSecOps, security-by-design, incident response, and continuous improvement.
