Job summary

Agfa HealthCare is seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Leader to build, scale, and lead our Cloud Operations organization for enterprise imaging cloud platforms. You will own end-to-end reliability, security, and performance in mission-critical SaaS environments, collaborating with Solution Architecture, Engineering, Product Management, and SecOps.

You will drive incident management, change governance, and on-call models while advancing automation and reliability-by-design across AWS-first

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years operating and scaling cloud-based production platforms.
• 5+ years leadership experience building, scaling, and leading Cloud Operations/SRE teams in a 24/7 global environment.
• Deep expertise in AWS‑first cloud platforms and cloud native architectures.
• Experience operating in regulated or compliance‑driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health, stability, and performance of all production cloud platforms and shared services.
• Manage SLAs, error budgets, and operational KPIs aligned to customer experience and availability commitments.
• Lead incident response, escalation, and post‑incident remediation for major incidents.
• Partner with Security, Finance, and Engineering to ensure compliance and security.
• Build and lead a global Cloud Operations/SRE organization with a SaaS-first model.
• Drive automation and on‑call efficiency to reduce toil and improve reliability.
