Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Director to lead the Eligibility portfolio for the PBM business, guiding modernization from on-prem systems to a cloud-based data platform and API layer serving member data to enterprise consumers.

You will lead multi-team engineering, ensure production stability, and partner with AI initiatives, architecture and business stakeholders to drive strategic delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Healthcare IT with leadership experience.
• Experience owning production-critical APIs and release management.
• Strong client-facing production support and incident response.
• Experience leading legacy-to-cloud modernization programs.
• Experience managing mixed FTE/contingent workforce.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, delivery, architecture, and operational stability for the eligibility platform, APIs, client onboarding and data integration.
• Lead the modernization of eligibility processing from legacy on-premises platforms to cloud-based data services.
• Own release management, deployment safety practices, and incident response for production-critical services.
• Lead and develop a multi-team organization through managers and senior managers.
• Manage production support and SLA adherence across all owned systems.
• Partner with architecture and principal engineering on AI-enabled initiatives and integrate them into team planning.
