Job summary
CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Director to lead the Eligibility portfolio for the PBM business, modernizing eligibility processing from legacy on-premises to a cloud-based data platform and API layer that serves member data to enterprise consumers.
The role oversees platform and API engineering, onboarding, data integration, and legacy operations, ensuring delivery, stability, and modernization across the portfolio.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in Healthcare IT with leadership at Director or Senior Manager level.
- Experience owning production-critical, high-availability APIs or systems.
- Legacy-to-cloud modernization or data migration experience.
Responsibilities
- Own strategy, delivery, architecture, and operational stability for the eligibility platform and APIs.
- Lead modernization from on-premises to cloud-based data services and migrate clients.
- Own release management, deployment safety, and incident response for production systems.
- Lead a multi-team organization through managers and senior managers and build successors.
- Manage production support and SLA adherence, coordinating with business stakeholders.
- Partner with architecture on AI-enabled initiatives and integrate into planning.
- Maintain strong Agile delivery and work-tracking practices.
- Oversee vendor relationships, budgeting, and resource allocation.
