Job summary

The State of South Carolina, Office of Mental Health, seeks a Program Manager II to lead the AOPMHC clinic services and supervise multiple program managers. The role focuses on operations, compliance, client access, and quality improvement to support long-term wellness for individuals and families.

Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s degree in guidance, counseling, or social sciences with relevant post-master experience, and be prepared for credentialing as a mental health professional in SC.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in guidance, counseling or the social sciences.
• SC licensure as Professional Counselor or Licensed Independent Social Worker - CP preferred.
• Clinical experience and credentialing requirements for core services.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage clinic services implementation and day-to-day operations.
• Oversee supervisors and ensure staff training on compliance and quality improvement.
• Monitor productivity, access, and reporting to meet patient care hours and caseload guidelines.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet CARF survey standards and participate in governance.
• Serve as liaison for justice-involved programs and community partnerships.
