Job summary

SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Anderson Mental Health Clinic, seeks a Program Manager II to lead clinical services for the Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center and oversee multiple program areas across three counties.

The role includes directing clinic operations, ensuring compliance, managing staffing productivity, and coordinating with judges and partners to advance mental health services and CARF accreditation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in guidance, counseling or the social sciences; five (5) years related postmaster degree experience.
• SC licensure as Professional Counselor or Licensed Independent Social Worker - CP.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the AOPMHC clinic services implementation, enhancement, and day-to-day operations through the direct supervision of the Program Managers of Community Service, Mobile Crisis Response, Training Coordinator/Highway to Hope/Interns/Outreach, Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement and Senior Office Manager.
• Provide oversight to the Supervisors to ensure clinical staff are trained on Compliance and that clinical staff are measured against productivity expectations for Patient Care Hours.
• Develop patient advisory board or mechanism for patient feedback into current and new programs and development.
• Ensure system to meet access requirements for patients; create and run reports for caseload guidelines and patient functionality measures.
• Serve as Justice Involved Program Liaison; coordinate with judges and community partners and with Department of Justice programs.
• Work with Leadership to ensure CARF standards and disaster preparedness protocols are in place.
• Act as Disaster Preparedness Coordinator for AOPMHC.
