Job summary

The State of South Carolina Office of Mental Health seeks a Mental Health Professional II / Chief, CAF Program (Aiken) to oversee Child, Adolescent and Family Services, MDFT and Roads of Independence, and supervise assigned staff. This role emphasizes adherence to QA standards and collaboration with community partners to promote recovery and wellness.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in guidance, counseling, or social sciences and licensure eligibility as LPC/LISW-CP/LMFT, with MDFT

Qualifications

• Masters degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences or related field.
• Licensed or eligible for LPC, LISW-CP, or LMFT licensure.
• Must be licensed in SC or pursuing licensure within 6 months.
• MDFT certification within first six months of employment.
• Credentialing and privileging as mental health professional per QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide oversight for Child, Adolescent and Family Services, MDFT and Roads of Independence.
• Ensure MDFT services are delivered with fidelity to the MDFT model.
• Ensure services have patient input and are documented per QA standards (Plans of Care, Progress Summaries, Safety Plans).
• Meet clinical/agency metrics and fidelity to evidence-based models as outlined on EPMS.
• Pursue professional development and maintain required certifications/licenses.
• Build positive relationships with patients, staff, and community partners to facilitate linkages to services.
