Job summary

Ascension’s Sacred Heart Bay Hospital in Panama City, FL is seeking a full-time leader for the Inpatient Rehabilitation department. You will direct staffing, hire, train and develop staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify issues and implement services.

You’ll monitor the budget and guide cost containment efforts to maintain financial health. The role requires strong leadership with experience in inpatient rehab settings, plus a track record of managing budgets and

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Develops departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the objectives of the organization.
• Directs all activities related to staffing including hiring, training, development and evaluation of staff.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
• Monitors and adheres to budget. Approves and/or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
