Job summary

Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties in Somerville, NJ seeks a Director of Clinical Operations to lead and grow our clinical and programmatic infrastructure, supervising clinicians and ensuring compliant, high-quality services.

Responsibilities include overseeing outpatient services, recruitment through discharge, QA, staff development, budget planning, and coordination with Medical Director.

Qualifications

• Current LCSW license with Clinical Supervision Certification.
• Minimum 6 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in supervision.
• Experience supervising clinicians and multidisciplinary frontline teams.
• Experience working with mental illness and complex psychosocial needs.
• Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and medical documentation standards.
• Expertise in HIPAA, DMHAS, and Medicare policies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of outpatient mental health and social services.
• Monitor referrals, intake, discharge, and record-keeping systems.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and reporting to leadership and funders.
• Provide clinical assessment and counseling as needed.
• Supervise licensed clinicians and program coordinators; conduct regular supervision.
• Coordinate with Medical Director and oversee regulatory matters.
• Set program outcomes and participate in budget planning.
