Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York City seeks an Associate Director to oversee the Clinical Command Center's daily administrative and business operations, including capacity management, inpatient admitting, throughput, transfer center activities and telemedicine.

Lead cross‑functional teams, develop SOPs, monitor performance metrics, manage staffing and budgeting, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards to maintain high employee engagement and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field.
• Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH) highly preferred.
• Experience leading healthcare operations and large teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operations across CCC departments including admitting, throughput, and telemedicine.
• Plans and coordinates projects, maintains SOPs, and evaluates resources and workflows.
• Leads staff development, training, and performance appraisals; supports engagement.
• Produces metrics and cost analyses; reports to senior leadership.
• Ensures compliance with accrediting bodies and regulatory requirements.
