Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Clinical Program Manager, Clinical Command Center to oversee 24/7 throughput, transfer center and care delivery across eight hospitals. Champion bed management, staffing, and cross-team collaboration to optimize admissions, discharges and transfers while ensuring policy compliance and patient safety.

The role requires RN/PA/NP licensure, extensive hospital-based experience and strong leadership in multidisciplinary settings.

Qualifications

Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Five (5) years of clinical hospital experience.
Two (2) years of critical care and/or emergency department experience preferred.
Two (2) years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
One (1) year of Patient Flow experience preferred.
EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads logistics teams in patient movement and bed assignments across hospitals.
Coordinate transfers within the system and with external facilities to optimize throughput.
Review patient charts and collaborate with Nursing, Medical, Infection Prevention and Support Services on bed placement.
Facilitate multidisciplinary huddles to expedite patient movement across campuses.
Ensure readiness for regulatory surveys and lead quality improvement initiatives.
