Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Five (5) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting
• Two (2) years of critical care and/or emergency department experience preferred
• Two (2) years of management or supervisory experience preferred
• One (1) year of Patient Flow experience preferred
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Logistics teams coordinating patient movement and bed assignments
• Act as designee for COO to approve diversions and coordinate multiple services
• Develop strategy for bed management across 8 hospitals and 95 units
• Facilitate multidisciplinary huddles and validate infection/isolation protocols
• Collaborate with senior leadership to balance patient load and throughput
• Oversee data collection and reporting for throughput performance
• Ensure readiness for Joint Commission surveys
• Recruit, train, and manage staff per policies and procedures
• Coordinate discharge timing and inter-facility transfer processes

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Master’s degree (preferred)

NCCPA Board Certification

New York State Licensure

BLS and ACLS Certification
