Job summary

Empower Tehama is seeking a Director of Client Services to lead and coordinate programs, services, and staff in alignment with our mission to serve survivors and families in the community.

The role partners with the Executive Director and the leadership team to ensure quality client care, program operations, and data-driven decision making while advancing organizational goals and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in nonprofit, social services, victim services, behavioral health, child welfare, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience, including staff development and program operations.
• Demonstrated experience working with survivors of interpersonal violence.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary partners (law enforcement, courts, healthcare, schools, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight across programs and services.
• Coach and develop staff; ensure quality and consistency of direct client services.
• Support grant development, compliance, and reporting.
• Support program evaluation and data-informed decision-making.
• Lead crisis, housing, and legal program supports; align with organizational values.
