Job summary

Samaritan House in San Mateo, CA, seeks an Associate Director of Client Services. The role provides strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for the Client Services Department, ensuring program effectiveness, financial oversight, and staff development.

Under the supervision of the VP of Programs and Services, you will develop budgets, supervise Case Managers, and deliver data-informed insights to leadership while fostering community relations and program growth.

Qualifications

• MSW preferred; Bachelor's in social work, psychology, or related field required.
• Equivalent work experience may substitute in some cases.
• Six+ years nonprofit human services experience.
• Three+ years supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct implementation and leadership of Client Services at satellite locations.
• Develop reports, manage budget planning and expense control.
• Supervise Client Services staff including Case Managers.
• Lead staff development and training.
• Ensure programmatic compliance and data-driven decision making.
• Coordinate with Leadership Team on strategic planning.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare senior leadership reports.
• Engage with community partners and provide program development.
