The Role:
As the
Director of Client Services, you will oversee a national team delivering grants consulting services to nonprofit organizations. The Director will lead service delivery, ensure client satisfaction, drive innovation, and meet revenue and quality goals. The ideal candidate brings leadership experience in grants consulting, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector, strong client service expertise, and the ability to balance strategic direction with day-to-day execution. In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage a high-performing client services team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.
- Oversee client success and service delivery quality, ensuring exceptional outcomes and alignment with evolving client needs.
- Advance revenue through client retention and growth strategies, partnering with the Director of Growth to expand value within the client portfolio.
- Drive continuous improvement and team culture, including innovation in service offerings, process optimization, and operational excellence.
- Lead financial oversight of the department, including revenue achievement, resource allocation, and profitability.
- Partner with other leaders to ensure operational cohesion across departments and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
- Serve on the Leadership Team to help shape and achieve company goals.
A successful Director of Client Services will demonstrate:

- Revenue & Resource Management: Track record of driving revenue growth while optimizing resource utilization.
- Operational Excellence: Strong project management, process improvement, and quality assurance skills to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong partnerships internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience
- Strong background in grant seeking, consulting, or philanthropy
- Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) a plus
Compensation:
Grants Plus has standardized salaries based on position, no matter where you live. This is a full-time salaried position. The salary range for this role is $89,000 to $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This posted range reflects our targeted hiring range for this position. Actual compensation within this range will be based on skills, experience, and alignment with organizational needs.

Working Hours and Locations:
This is a fully remote role open to candidates located in the United States. The successful candidate must be able to work standard U.S. Eastern Time (ET) business hours to ensure effective collaboration with our team and clients. Currently, we are prioritizing hiring within the following states: AZ, FL, IN, KY, MI, MO, OH, NC, TN, TX, WI.
