Job summary

Compass Connections seeks a seasoned leader to oversee program management at the Cameron facility in Los Fresnos, TX. The role drives regulatory compliance, program quality, and collaboration with community partners to ensure safe, supportive child placements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s plus five years in child welfare management, and a Master’s in a related field is preferred. Requires bilingual English/Spanish and a valid administrator license; work hours may include evenings and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience in child welfare administration or licensed childcare program management.
• Preferred Master’s degree in social work or related behavioral science field.
• Administrator’s license, First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention are required.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to the position.
• Oversee and remediate deficiencies related to standards and requirements.
• Conduct regular video monitoring of the site and ensure safety protocols.
• Participate in service expansion planning, budget preparations, and long-range planning.
• Organize and participate in local and regional meetings with community entities.
• Serve as a member of Compass Connections Management Executive Council.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality in all areas of service populations and program operations.
