Job summary

The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is seeking a relationship-driven Director, Chapter Excellence to strengthen and support our nationwide chapter network. You will be the primary staff liaison to chapter executives, guiding governance, strategic planning, and performance reporting while promoting the sharing of best practices across AGC's chapters.

Based in our Arlington, VA headquarters, this role leads chapter communications, professional development programs, and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential preferred.
• Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in association management or chapter relations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact and strategic partner for chapter executives and staff.
• Lead chapter communications, development programs, and reporting and compliance activities.
• Serve as staff liaison to the Executive Leadership Council (ELC) and coordinate meetings.
• Develop tools and resources to promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Supervise the Chapter Excellence Coordinator and ensure accountability for goals.

Education
