Job summary

Associated-General-Contractors-of-Americ seeks a Director of Chapter Excellence to serve as the primary contact for chapter executives, coordinating resources and supporting operations across the national chapter network.

The role leads communications, professional development programs, and compliance reporting, while serving as liaison to the Executive Leadership Council and collaborating across AGC departments to deliver relevant programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with CAE preferred.
• 5–7 years in association management, chapter relations, or related field.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency with AMS, online collaboration platforms, and reporting tools.
• Ability to travel as needed to support chapters and events.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact and strategic partner for AGC chapters.
• Identify chapter needs and develop strategies, resources and solutions.
• Guide chapters on governance, planning and organizational effectiveness.
• Coordinate ELC governance, meetings and administrative activities.
• Lead development, implementation and evaluation of chapter programs.
• Oversee chapter reporting, compliance, and data collection.
