Job summary

iCare Health Network seeks a Director of Census Development to lead strategies for census growth across our nursing facilities and to align admissions with day‑to‑day operations and financial goals.

In this role you will collaborate with facility leadership, clinical teams, and corporate partners to maximize referrals, improve occupancy, and guide data‑driven program development and performance analysis.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long‑term care, or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care
• Time management and organizational skills
• Experience using Word, Excel, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• PointClickCare experience preferred
• English proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement census growth strategies across multiple nursing facilities within the long‑term care network
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, referral sources, and market expansion initiatives
• Collaborate with facility leadership to support occupancy goals and drive consistent census performance
